Crystal Hetrick

Crystal began her journey of mindfulness and healing in 2009 by moving to North Carolina to begin yoga teacher training.  She attended the North Carolina School of Yoga and studied the Holy Science of Yoga under the guidance of Chandra Om.  She completed her beginner level, prenatal, and advanced teacher training at the Shala. This experience was a dramatic life transformation thanks to the great teachings and impeccable teachers who shared this ancient wisdom of radiant health and ultimately enlightenment!  After completing the advanced (500hr) yoga teacher training, Crystal knew she was meant to share the knowledge of health and well-being.

She pursued an education in massage & bodywork at BTI - Body Therapy Institute (one of the top massage and bodywork therapy schools in the nation) and was trained in Swedish, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Embodied Touch, Hot Stone, Prenatal, and Polarity Therapy modalities.

She has continued her education in the Eastern Healing paradigm and had found Thai Massage / Thai Yoga Bodywork as the modality best resonating with her character and capacity. She initially received her certification for Thai Massage from the Center for Massage and Natural Health under the guidance of Grace Scarborough. She continued her studies of the Thai Healing Arts under Bob Haddad.
And learning will continue!

Crystal practices Integrative Bodywork on the table suited to each individual's specific needs and specializes in Thai Massage / Thai Yoga Bodywork. She focuses on breath and intention as a means to enhance the healing process.  She embodies presence, compassion, and unconditional positive regard and is honored to be an instrument of healing.

Crystal offers massage and bodywork appointments throughout the weekdays, a yoga class Wednesday evenings at 7p and Friday mornings at 10a, and workshops and classes on the weekends at the Thatcher Healing House.
